Really? Really?!

There's an IVF clinic advertising "online coupons" for discount in vitro fertilization. I wouldn't be comfortable getting a cheapie tummy tuck let alone a cut-rate test tube baby. What is this world coming to??

It seems strange but I think it is becoming the norm. It works great for getting the word out about a new business. I agree though that I would need to think long and hard (and have to have lots of proof that the clinic was reputable) before moving forward.

That's assuming you're comfortable allowing your egg to be fertilized in a petri dish to begin with! I have plenty of friends who have gone to fertility clinics, at least one of whom ended up adopting. IVF can be draining, both financially and emotionally, even setting aside deep religious objections some people may (quite validly) hold.
